the third one i purchased was a nice bright orange which matched most of my push stick accessories and the micro jig steel pro splitter thin kerf. the first two i purchased were light blue/ gray colored which i thought matched nicely with the grey color of my saw. the tab in the back is perfect for leveraging the plate in and maintaining the snug fit.
the screws on the side allow you to dial it in perfectly with 0 play at all side to side or front to back. the combination of these two items gave me instant reliable performance for my custom furniture shop. i decided to try the lee craft insert to use with micro jig's steel pro splitter. Actually didn't need to adjust the height on on ours. Picture does not show it, but there is a little flange on the back side that keeps the plate down and in. Fit is tight enough and adjustable with the screw on the front. Good decision.I had zero problems setting this up for use.
